Perhaps your research has resulted in an invention. Perhaps you have developed a novel software algorithm. Maybe you have amassed valuable survey findings or market research. It is the role of the Technology Transfer and Industrial Development Office to assess and market these and other forms of intellectual property that have commercialization potential. Inventions that are successfully commercialized can generate funds for the inventor(s), affiliated SU Departments, and the greater University.
Our office is committed to working with faculty members, and we understand how important it is to publish. Protecting intellectual property and publishing are not mutually exclusive. The office works with faculty members to pursue a dual track of publishing (99.9% of the time without delay) while preserving IP rights.
