Program   Linking Inventors to Investors
  • On April 29, 2009, 5 entities, including the SU Office of Technology Transfer and Industrial Development will sponsor a roundtable entitled “Linking Inventors to Investors.” This is the inaugural Inventor to Investor Roundtable, an event expected to be held semi-annually going forward. The roundtable will provide an important forum in which SU researchers, professors, and SUstart-ups can meet with regional entrepreneurs and investors. Conversations, both organized and during networking sessions, will be focused on opportunities relative to investing in existing University start-ups; spinning out a University start-up, and more. This event is geared to creating the relationships and flow of information that is critical to the success of University start-ups. Through this event and others, the Office of Technology Transfer and Industrial Development provides a needed and important venue to link inventors to investors.
